Did you know that every time you buy antibiotics over the counter without a prescription or do not finish the full course, you are making germs stronger and harder to fight? This is known as Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)—when bacteria, viruses, and fungi become resistant to the medicines that once defeated them. If we are not careful, infections that were easy to treat could become dangerous.
